Best Value Jewelry & Pawn was founded by Jerry Vanscoy in 1993 and has remained in the same location for over 30 years. Mr. Jerry knew that to be successful he had to build his business on honesty, trust, quality merchandise at fair prices and he needed to treat each customer with respect and dignity. Because of his values, Best Value quickly grew to be one of the most highly regarded pawn shops in Fort Pierce and on the Treasure Coast.

Over the years, Mr. Jerry brought in staff that encouraged and helped him to expand the Fort Pierce location to include an exclusive jewelry department. The jewelry department rapidly grew to include estate jewelry, high end watches, a selection of diamond jewelry, colored stones and much more. After expanding further in to jewelry, Mr. Jerry brought in and hired a jeweler, making Best Value one of the first pawn shops to have an on-sight jeweler available to his customers.
